How do I brew Yerba Mate?
I just bought some yerba mate on a friend’s recommendation. I do not have a filtered straw or a gourd yet. Does anyone have any advise how it is best consumed?

In Paraguay it is consumed cold regularly it is called Terere and you can use sweetened lemon juice (lemonade) or grapefruit juice. In Brazil they infuse it with pineapple.
